This article by Geoff Law is very good indeed. A vision for the forests people can relate to.

Then our tall-eucalypt forests can enjoy the same protection and reverence as California’s statuesque oldgrowth redwoods and become a great international drawcard for Tasmania.

Global 24 Hours of Action

Global 24 Hours of Action - 15th Feb,12.00pm Parliament Lawns.Please come!

We will gather with banners and posters at noon on Parliament Lawns, Wed 15th Feb. The Florentine Protection Society's focus for this years Global 24 Hours of Action will centre around a letter to all State politicians. The letter will also be a Media Release. The letter is still in the process of being written. I will send it out when it is finished.

At this critical time in the forests when we want to put pressure on the government we need to be able to show strength in numbers. Please come! Bring friends and children.

Miranda Gibson (this is day 60 for her to be 60 metres above ground in her tree-sit!!!) will still be included in the global photos by 12.15pm....so please try and get there by noon.
